“Urban Trekking” returns this year in 35 cities across Italy to celebrate “slow tourism”, a form of sustainable tourism, a different way to visit places, away from the traditional circuits, freer, surprising, focusing on hidden and lesser-known corners of Italian cities.

The “trekker”, walking through routes while guided by experts, will be able to combine art and nature while keeping fit and having a low impact on the environment.

Trekking Urbano, as it is called in Italian, takes place every year on October 31st and usually extends to the days immediately before and after. This year marks the 10th anniversary, with 35 cities from the north to the south of Italy including islands taking part in the initiative.
